Learning opportunities in the D.C. area
In the greater Washington, D.C., area, Virginia Tech offers more than 45 graduate degree and certificate programs taught by internationally recognized faculty. These include two executive masters programs in business administration and natural resources. About 1,000 students are enrolled in master’s degree programs in the region; some 300 students are Ph.D. candidates. Primary teaching locations are Old Town Alexandria and the Northern Virginia Center (NVC) in Falls Church, both easily accessible by Metro. Many online courses are also available.
To serve emerging needs of government, industry, and nonprofit agencies, Virginia Tech continually adds new degree and certificate programs to its graduate curriculum.
Virginia Tech’s outreach programs offer a wide array of resources to meet community and business needs, including non-degree professional certificates, courses geared toward the non- traditional learner, language and cultural education.
