Graduate programs in the D.C. area
Virginia Tech offers more than 45 graduate degree and certificate programs, in the greater Washington, D.C., metro area, taught by internationally recognized faculty. The university's three teaching locations, in Old Town Alexandria, the Virginia Tech Research Center - Arlington, the Northern Virginia Center (NVC) in Falls Church, are all easily accessible by Metro.
Residents may also take classes as Commonwealth Campus students without being formally admitted to a degree program.
Virginia Tech continually adds new degree and certificate programs to its graduate curriculum to serve emerging needs of government, industry, and nonprofit agencies.
